Stockholm is the capital of Sweden. It has five airports, so you can easily get your flight from the UK. Arlanda (airport code: ARN) is the primary international airport, which is approximately 25 miles north of Stockholm. The Skavsta Airport (having airport code: NYO) is located nearly 60 miles south west of Stockholm. Ryanair carries passengers from Birmingham, London, Liverpool, Stansted, Glasgow and Dublin. The airport is linked with the city through airport-coaches. On the other hand, there is Vasteras Airport (having airport code: VST) from where you can take a flight with Ryanair, from only London Stansted. Ryanair airlines also have flights that take off from the UK to Sweden, arriving at Gothenburg City Airport (having airport code: GSE).

Stockholm is capital as well as the largest Sweden city, located on the eastern region of the Baltic Sea. As a sightseer, you would like to spend your time within the city canter, known as the ?innerstaden?, as here you will come across the most popular historical parts and interesting attractions of the city.

Stockholm comprises many connected islands as well as historical hub, such as Gamla Stan, and The Old Town. Gothenburg is the second largest city of Sweden. If you come here via with Ryanair, you?ll arrive at Gothenburg City Airport, which is a small airport where only Ryanair, and two other airlines operate. You will get a bus to the city centre.

Gothenburg is located on the west coast in Sweden. It is popular as a very welcoming city. You can conveniently get around the city using the wide network of trams. If you wish to see museums, there is plenty of options available starting from Art Museum to Volvo Museum. There are also many historical buildings worth a visit, like the Gothenburg Cathedral, and Kronhuset (the Crown House). You may for a change like to see the city from the water. Hire any of the tourist boats available for tours; on the canals and harbour. You will also find them around the islands, off the coast.

The north region of Sweden, known as Norrland, comprises some attractive landscape, plus lakes, forests, and mountains. It is a wonderful place for activities like hiking. If you further north, you can traverse the Arctic Circle where, from late June to the early July, you will see ?midnight sun?, days when the sun doesn?t set.

Sweden experiences a moderate weather, although this edges on the sub-Arctic region in the North Mountains. In the summer months, the climatic conditions is averagely between around 15C (59F) in the north; 16 to 22C (61 ? 59F) in the centre; and 18 to 25C (64 ? 77F) in the south; spring and autumn seasons are cold and winters are usually chilly.
