Then there is Norah. She is one girl who ALWAYS abides by the rules. She is intelligent and self-motivated and is gearing up to study at the prestigious Brown University. Nick thinks he needs a little mental vacation. But his band-mates have other plans and successfully convince him to play this night at the club. That is where Norah, because she wants to prove a point to Tris, decides to hook up with Nick just till Tris is around. Nicks band-mates, Thom and Dev see that Norah is the perfect girl for Nick and convince her to spend the evening with Nick while they assure to take her drunken friend, Caroline home. Nick and Norah thus begin their hunt to find the publicity-shy band Wheres Fluffy who are rumored to be playing in some club in the city.
Meanwhile, Caroline, misunderstanding Thom and Devs intentions after hearing their conversation from the back of their car runs away from them thinking they plan to rape her. They inform Nick about their predicament of losing Caroline who passes on the message to Norah. They eventually find Caroline outside a gay bar thanks to her tip-off to Norah (and Thom and Dev who are gay). What follows is the search by Nick and Norah for the concert by Wheres Fluffy. The movie pans out with Nick and Norah realizing what they want. The cast includes Michael Cera as Nick, Kat Dennings as Norah, Ari Graynor as Caroline, Aaron Yoo as Thom and Rafi Gavron as Dev. The movie is directed by Peter Sollett of Five Feet High and Rising and Raising Victor Vargas fame.
