Most tourists use taxi cabs to get around in Greece. You should know that only 4 passengers will be able to be in one cab at a time and the entire luggage must fit in the trunk of the cab. You may have to hail more than one taxi if you have several pieces of luggage. Be sure you are ready for pick up when you call, the taxis only take a few minutes to arrive to your location after they are called.

Having a map of Greece will be extremely helpful for finding your way around. Even if you plan to take a taxi everywhere you go you should know the area to be able to spend more time than necessary traveling from one sight to the next. The hotel will be able to provide you with maps while you are there and if you prefer to have one prior to your visit your travel agent can assist.

Greece is filled with excitement and enjoyment for everyone who visits. Taking in the architecture or visiting the unique catholic churches can be enough for some, while others want to splash in the waters of the best beaches in the world or chance their luck at a world famous casino. Some people would rather relax on a top notch golf course or receive a first class treatment in a luxurious spa. Greece can accommodate everyone and all their needs.

Finding someone who speaks your language is easy in Greece. The police officers wear the flags of the countries that they speak their language. So when you need help finding your way to one of the beautiful beaches or just the directions back to your hotel look for your flag on the police officers chest.
